Job Summary Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to ensure the reliable operation of rice milling machinery through effective preventive and corrective maintenance. The role involves diagnosing complex mechanical faults, fabricating parts when required, maintaining equipment records, and supporting plant optimization projects while ensuring strict adherence to safety standards. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on entire milling line (destones, hullers, whiteners, polishers, sorters) Troubleshoot complex mechanical failures and implement sustainable solutions Fabricate or modify parts when replacements are unavailable Train and mentor Electrical Technicians on integrated mechanical-electrical systems. Maintain spare parts inventory and equipment maintenance records. Implement and follow preventive maintenance schedules Work with TPM on equipment optimization and upgrade projects.
