Mechanical Technician – Recovery Side (Evaporator & Recovery Boiler)

Job Purpose

Responsible for carrying out mechanical maintenance activities in the Recovery area, including Evaporator and Recovery Boiler equipment, to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance for mechanical equipment in the Recovery area.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair rotating and static equipment such as pumps, valves, conveyors, agitators, gearboxes, blowers, and piping systems.
• Support shutdown and turnaround activities for Evaporator and Recovery Boiler equipment.
• Conduct equipment alignment, bearing replacement, seal replacement, and vibration checking.
• Monitor equipment condition and report abnormalities to supervisors or engineers.
