Mechanical Technician - 2XM Recruit

2XM Recruit are looking for a Mechanical Technician/ Skilled Trade Assistant to join our clients’ high performing team. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and working in a team environment, this could be a great fit.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Inspect equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards

 
Skills/ Experience

• 2+ years of local workshop experience as a Mechanical Technician or Skilled Trade Assistant
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings
• Confident using both hand and power tools
• Forklift ticket is advantageous but not essential
