Mechanical Sustaining Engineer

**Responsabilities**:- Provides technical support to internal Vertiv functions- Understands the products, suggesting ideas and improvements back to group- Collaboration across the disciplines of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering, as well as production, service, quality and offering teams.Work with these teams for design reviews, meeting cost metrics, and brainstorming around customer pain points.
- Creates/modifies mechanical parts/assemblies/drawings in CAD systems such as Creo and/or Solid Edge- Create and maintain Bill of Materials, released using product lifecycle management tools- Submit engineering change orders in Oracle PLM, releasing design changes including BOM and CAD documentation- Performs a variety of engineering calculations using traditional engineering methods to verify design requirements- Participate in identification of cost reduction opportunities and in the design and development of cost reduction changes- Implement product...
