1. Technical Leadership & Governance

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Mechanical Engineers within NPI.

• Establish and enforce mechanical engineering standards, best practices, and validation discipline.

• Review and approve mechanical designs, drawings, and engineering changes.

• Support capability development and technical competency growth within the ME team.

1. Product Design & Validation Oversight

• Review and approve mechanical validation results, tooling feedback, and prototype verification.

• Govern DVP&R planning, execution, and reporting.

• Ensure design intent, fit, function, and durability requirements are met.

• Lead technical risk reviews and ensure mitigation actions are defined and tracked.
