Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Power Engineer for a top power and energy consulting client.
As a Power Mechanical Engineer, you will be joining a highly capable, multi-disciplined team that supports power and energy projects primarily within the utility, IPP, industrial, institutional, and municipal sectors. Preferred candidates will have a working knowledge of industrial- and utility-scale power generation systems as required to carry out the typical job duties which include: mechanical equipment/pipe sizing, equipment/piping layout considerations, construction document development (P&IDs, system layout/installation drawings and specifications), engineer/equipment vendor submittal reviews, vendor/contractor communications, technical writing (reports, procurement specifications, etc.), code reviews, site visits, project planning, and working within an assigned budget and schedule.
