Mechanical Engineering Manager - Space Systems

**Description:** We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager in Severn, MD, to lead a team of space electromechanical engineers and aerospace mechanical engineers.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Manages the application of mechanical principles to components and systems, including assembly, analysis, and documentation of results for space systems
• Oversees support and participation in the design, test, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype and flight electromechanical systems and circuit card assemblies
• Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions
• Leads team of 8-12 mechanical, aerospace and electro-mechanical engineers
