Mechanical Engineering Intern

Hourly Rate- $25.00

Assignment Length- 6 months

Responsibilities

+ Create part/assembly drawings in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
+ Generate fixture assemblies to support factory acceptance testing requirements. Design considerations for fixtures are safety, economics, and ease of use for shop technicians.
+ Create process procedures that meets customer and regulatory specifications. Procedures include factory testing, parts inspection, others.
+ Communicate regularly with team members and company leaders regarding workload and task details/gaps.

Representative Qualifications:

+ Senior year student or recent graduate, Mechanical engineering or equivalent major
+ Senior year of college, less than three semesters from graduation.
+ Classes completed to include most, if not all junior level classes.
+ SolidWorks experience a must.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills.
+ Ability to work in an Agile environment.
