Mechanical Engineer
Description
- Mechanical Engineer supporting the Sheet Finishing department to improve safety, efficiency, output, and quality
- Responsible for mechanical system integration to create, sustain, and enhance manufacturing infrastructure and processes
- Works both independently and collaboratively with engineers, technical staff, maintenance, and production teams
- Reports to the Lead Engineer; primarily Monday–Friday days, with occasional off‑shift support for project needs
- Lead and execute project management activities for sustaining and capital improvement projects
- Manage all phases of mechanical engineering projects: concept, scope, specifications, safety reviews, bidding, design, manufacturing, commissioning, and closure
