Mechanical Engineer

An opportunity exists for 1 Mechanical Engineer to join our new department at LAMP, Kuantan.
He/ she will provide high-level mechanical engineering expertise in the FEED (Front End Engineering Design) in development and specification of static and rotating equipment.

Requirements of this programme:

• Prepare detailed drawings, blueprints, and 3D models for static and rotating equipment (e.g., pumps, conveyors, pressure vessels, and specialized solvent extraction units) using AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Draft technical specifications, data sheets, and purchase parameters for mechanical parts and piping systems in line with ASME, API, and Malaysian standards.
• Ensure all mechanical systems are designed for ease of operation and maintenance, collaborating with the plant maintenance team during the design phase.
• Participate in investigations of equipment failures in pilot or new production lines and implement mechanical corrective act...
