Legrand has an exciting opportunity for aMechanical Engineer to join the Data Center Power and Control Team in Farmingdale, NY. The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for engineered-to-order (ETO) projects, utilizing various configurations of existing design platforms, ensuring that custom configurations of existing and new designs meet customer requirements and can be produced within cost constraints.
What Will You Do?
+ Manage and create manufacturing packages for custom-configured cabinet assemblies
+ Develop Bills of Material and setting component routings in ERP
+ Evaluate customer requirements outlined in various sales documents
+ Estimate engineering lead time required for all projects
+ Create 3D CAD assembly files from existing CAD models of previously designed components and accessories, configured per customer requirements
