Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

+ Develop solutions to customer problems in collaboration with sales and manufacturing teams.

+ Ensure manufacturability of designs.

+ Validate designs through Finite Element Analysis and calculations.

+ Participate in peer reviews to ensure best-in-class product standards.

+ Engineer and detail designs using SolidWorks software.

+ Maintain documentation/records with PDM software.

+ Define component and assembly production using ERP software.

+ Troubleshoot production concerns in a manufacturing support team.

+ Support continuous improvements through Engineering Change Notices.

Essential Skills

+ BS in Mechanical Engineering

+ Proficiency in SolidWorks

+ Experience with PTC Mathcad and Microsoft Excel..

+ Understanding of GD&T

+ Experience working in a metal manufacturing industry.
