Bowhead seeks to network with a Mechanical Engineer to join our team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, VA for future or potential upcoming requirements.

***This position will require full onsite work at the Bowhead office or Navy installation. No remote opportunity for this contract***





**Responsibilities**

Job duties to include but not limited to:


+ Experience managing models inputs that trace requirements and specifications to the design of the mechanical system.
+ Experience defining and evaluating risks at the system and sub-system level and verifying the mechanical system is engineered to meet performance requirements
+ Experience overseeing the design of the mechanical system and developing the system architecture.
