In this full-time role based in Waterloo, ON, you will be responsible for the safe design of machinery systems that are efficient and cost-effective. Collaborate with various departments to ensure conformity with specified deadlines and budgets while enhancing functionality and design quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create design concepts based on customer guidelines
• Plan and verify mechanical functions of projects
• Obtain and specify quotes for specialized equipment
• Compile operational sequences and layout detailed schematics
• Respond to queries from the assembly and machine shop
Requirements:
• Valid Mechanical Engineering Degree or Technologist Diploma
• Minimum 2 years of Mechanical Design experience
