Position Overview

Mechanical Designer, Product Design and Development (Marine Acoustics) – Department: Engineering – Location: Collingwood, ON – Reports To: Engineering Leadership – Employment Type: Full‑time Permanent, On‑site role – Salary Range: $110,000.00 – $140,000.00

This new role of Mechanical Designer will focus on product design and development for marine acoustic products and subassemblies. The position owns the mechanical product design intent and execution across concept, prototyping, verification support, production release, and sustained engineering. It works closely with mechanical, acoustic, electronics engineers, manufacturing, and quality to deliver hardware that is manufacturable, serviceable, and aligned to real customer use cases. The role is product‑focused and is expected to produce buildable designs and disciplined drawing packages, lead design‑for‑manufacturing discussions, and drive practical outcomes.
