Mechanical Designer – Doors Structure

Altitude Aerospace is seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer to support our client’s clean‑sheet next generation commuter aircraft . The selected candidate will be responsible for taking the door structure and fuselage interface design from the conceptual phase through to detailed design suitable for manufacturing release.

This role involves extensive 3D modelling of metallic structural components, integration with door mechanisms, and close coordination with multidisciplinary engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, mature, and release 3D CAD models and engineering definitions for metallic door structures using CATIA V5, 3DX, or equivalent CAD platforms .
• Design metallic machined and sheet‑metal structural components such as skin, frames, gussets, hinge, brackets, fittings, and structural sub‑assemblies associated with the door system.
