Mechanical Designer

**What You'll Be Doing**

**Job Scope:** Generally responsible for performing all aspects for complete designs of mechanical/piping assignments using theoretical knowledge and practical design methods. This level is expected to assist in the design of larger and more complex mechanical/piping assignments. This work will be performed under general supervision.

**Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:**

+ Prepare, review, and revise piping layouts and detailed drawings
+ Develop P&IDs and isometrics utilizing IVXP owned computer with AutoCAD
+ Support equipment layout and piping routing design
+ Conduct design reviews and clash detection
+ Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI, API, NEC)
+ Coordinate with engineering disciplines
+ Produce material take-offs and support project documentation
