Mechanical Designer

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our teams in Boucherville. The role involves 3D design and modeling of parts and/or assemblies. The incumbent also produces 2D drawings from the 3D model in accordance with the client's or MSB's technical drawing standards. The position will also have a lead role with more junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies related to the design, operation, and performance of parts, mechanisms, and systems.
• Participate in the development of innovative new products that meet very high customer expectations while achieving internal targets for cost, reliability, and performance.
• Obtain all necessary standards and regulatory documentation related to research and development activities.
• Participate in project planning and may be required to lead projects.
• Prepare cost and schedule estimates, technical reports, and design specifications.
