System One is seeking a Mechanical Designer to support the design and development of advanced nuclear reactor technology. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams developing next-generation energy systems.
Responsibilities

+ Develop 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks.

+ Design mechanical and structural components, test fixtures, flow loops, rigs, and sub-scale test articles.

+ Create fabrication and assembly drawings in accordance with ASME standards.

+ Perform tolerance stack-up analyses and apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5.

+ Support structural, thermal, neutronic, radiological, and safety analyses through CAD model development.
