Mechanical Designer 2

Overview We are seeking a full-time Mechanical Designer 2 at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and driving mechanical solutions by providing CAD modeling assistance and drafting support, documentation, testing, and other technical support within a team-oriented environment. Essential Functions Support completion of moderately complex mechanical designs for Garmin products Simultaneously complete basic mechanical design projects with some Mechanical Engineering guidance Drive completion of derivative projects with minimal guidance from Mechanical Engineer Expert CAD user able to model complex parts with advanced modeling features Fully support activities of components sourcing Attend design reviews and can provide suggestions on mechanical engineering designs Recommend, coordinate, and execute test plans to verify compliance with design requirements Support cost tracking activities on tooling, part cost, and ...
