Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
3D model creation and production drafting for new product design of industrial machinery

Work with the customer to refine production specifications and execute their product vision

Consult with Manufacturing to resolve issues and improve product manufacturability

Update documents of existing designs to resolve issues such as EOL components, manufacturability issues and customer requests

Mentor technicians and junior engineers to develop their skill sets

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

Qualified candidates will have experience in most of these areas:
Weldment design

Sheet metal parts
