Job Description

Responsibilities
Mechanical Equipment Knowledge (, Ship Systems (Propulsion, Steering, Fuel Systems, Bilge & Ballast , Auxiliary Systems (HVAC, Chilled Water, Grey/Black systems , 
Electrical Equipment Knowledge (, Generation, Storage (Batteries , Distribution (AC & DC), Domestic, 
General Arrangement / Compartment Layouts - modelling & drawing experience
Class & Flag Requirements (DNV & MCA specifically)
 Qualifications 
Degree qualified in a relevant STEM discipline (., Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Marine Technology, Naval Engineering), or equivalent experience in the naval and commercial ship design, construction, or maintenance domain.
Professional member of a relevant engineering institution (., RINA, IMarEST, IMechE, IET).
Recognised as an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer by the UK Engineering Council (or an ability to achieve within 12 months).
