Mechanical Design Engineer (LV switchboards)

Job Purpose: The Mechanical Design R&D Engineer is responsible for leading front-end development activities for low voltage switchboards within the APAC region. This role focuses on understanding customer applications in targeted segments, identifying pain points, and translating field insights into clear product requirements and solution concepts. In addition to front-end engagement, the R&D Engineer manages and executes local R&D projects to deliver end-to-end technical solutions that support business growth and meet regional needs. The position works closely with the regional Sales teams, the switchboard factories and HQ R&D teams to drive product innovation, evaluate new technologies, and ensure that locally developed solutions align with CHINT's global standards and strategic direction.
