Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer – Switchgear
Location: PEL Factory Unit, 34 KM Ferozepur Road, Lahore
Department: Switchgear Design
The Mechanical Design Engineer – Switchgear will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of mechanical components used in switchgear systems. Design and develop mechanical structures and components for Low and Medium Voltage switchgear products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop mechanical designs for switchgear assemblies including panels, enclosures, frames, busbar supports, breaker compartments, and accessory fittings used in both indoor and outdoor applications.
Prepare and finalize detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and General Arrangement (GA) drawings for production release.
Perform engineering analyses and mechanical calculations (e.g., strength, stiffness, thermal expansion, load distribution) to validate design reliability and durability.
