Job Description
PE Global is currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our industrial engineering client (NOV) based in Middleton, Manchester, UK. The role is a permanent position and the salary for this role is £47,500 per annum.
The role is hybrid with 3 days in office / 2 WFH. Hours: 7:30 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday 7:30 - 12:30 Friday
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical products and engineered systems from concept through to manufacture
Produce and review 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings
Carry out engineering analysis including FEA and hand calculations to support design modifications and improvements
Simplify and optimise existing designs to reduce cost and improve manufacturability and production efficiency
Work closely with Production, Projects, and Procurement teams to ensure designs meet operational and customer requirements
