Salary: $120K - $140K

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical)
• Experience: Minimum of five years relevant work experience in mechanical engineering

Skills and Competencies

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Design and engineering analysis of mechanical systems and components.
• Basic mechanical stress/strength calculations.
• Overtime is required.
• Able to travel internationally (required to travel an average of 60 -90 days per year).
• Nordion requires pre-employment medical screening to be accepted as cleared prior to start date.
• Background verification includes FBI fingerprinting and criminal record check.
• Valid Canadian passport.
• Valid driver’s license.
