The Basic Oxygen Steelmaking (BOS) Department plays a critical role in BlueScope’s steelmaking process, converting molten iron from the Blast Furnace into high‑quality steel that becomes hot‑rolled coil and Australian building products.

The BOS Asset Team is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable maintenance outcomes through strong asset management strategies and disciplined execution of maintenance activities.
