Mechanical CAD Designer

We are supporting a specialist manufacturing business in their search for an additional CAD Designer for their close-knit team.

This role is ideal for someone who combines solid engineering fundamentals with high‑quality 3D design capability and who enjoys seeing designs move from concept through to production. 

Core Duties include:

Creating detailed 3D CAD designs using Inventor for bespoke mechanical products
Applying strong mechanical engineering principles to deliver practical, buildable solutions
Working directly with customers to understand requirements and develop designs
Supporting technical proposals and collaborating closely with production teamsAbout you:

Strong background in Mechanical Engineering (essential)
Proven experience using Inventor or Solidworks for 3D design
Ability to design for manufacture in a production environment
