**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our engine line team. The ideal candidate will have experience with various tools and may assist with prepping parts for painting. Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred, especially for those with experience in car mechanics or construction.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform assembly and pre-paint preparation including masking, sanding, and painting.
+ Troubleshoot, repair, and train others on mechanical tasks.
+ Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and standard work instructions.
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
+ Follow verbal or written instructions and quality standards accurately and safely.
+ Assemble and test parts and components for locomotive engines and alternators.
+ Fasten sub-assembly parts with bolts, screws, and other fasteners.
