Mechanical Assembler

Job description:

•  The Mechanical Assembler will take an active role in the mechanical coupling and assembly operations in the production processes. Operates machine to connect metal couplings to pipes: Sets tightening mechanism on machine to correspond to specified numbers of turns.


• Put coupling into machine.
• Starts machine that connects and tightens coupling to pipe.
• Stops machine and ejects pipe.
• May also tighten couplings manually when machine malfunctions.
• May also keep production records.

Job responsibilities:

• Making the generator groups ready by performing mechanical assembly operations.


• To carry out their work in accordance with the information in the work order.
• Engine, alternator, record, etc. to be put into production. to make a visual check and otherwise notify the supervisor.
• Processing production data entries to the relevant system.
