+ Work safely as an individual and as part of a team in a physically demanding role.
+ Work as an individual or part of a team to ensure delivery on time to both internal and external customers.
+ Mark out, drill and fit equipment to layouts.
+ Must be able to read and work to bills of materials, standard operating procedures, assembly drawings and instructions.
+ Be competent to torque power connections.
+ Work to process standards and operating procedures.
+ Capable of highlighting potential issues and suggesting rational corrective/preventative actions.
+ Capable and willing to transfer skills and knowledge to colleagues.
+ Responsible for achieving required output including productivity
, quality and attendance.
+ Operate Kanban stock.
The ideal candidate will have solid and relevant experience of mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment; however other mechanical disciplines are also suitable.
