**Job Description**

This role involves assembling mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment, using hand and power tools to build mail automation systems. You will work on a full-time, first-shift schedule and contribute to a growing operation that offers contract-to-hire opportunities and clear paths for career development.

**Responsibilities**

+ Read and interpret assembly drawings and blueprints to accurately assemble equipment.
+ Assemble and build mail automation equipment according to specifications and quality standards.
+ Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to assemble mechanical components and subassemblies.
+ Recognize and correctly use mechanical parts such as pulleys, bearings, springs, and gears during assembly.
+ Identify and select appropriate hardware including screws, bolts, nuts, washers, and snap rings.
