**Job Description**

Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler and play a crucial role in the assembly of wind turbine power transmissions and their subassemblies. You will work from blueprints, parts lists, and assembly cards using parts washers, freezers, ovens, cranes, hand and power tools. Your tasks will include shimming and final assembly of gear units. You'll collaborate with other assemblers and oversee lower-grade assemblers, ensuring high-quality output.

**Responsibilities**

+ Learn about gear boxes and all components used in assemblies and sub-assemblies.
+ Gain knowledge of pinions, torque arms, ring gears, and elements of gear box production.
+ Operate an overhead crane to lift, hoist, and move gear boxes within the facility.
+ Disassemble gear boxes using torque wrenches or impact guns as needed.
+ Read and interpret gear box documentation and step-by-step instructions.
