Mechanic Diesel 520 (Dieppe)

The Diesel Mechanic inspects, maintains, diagnoses, and repairs assigned on-/off-road and heavy-duty equipment to ensure proper function, vehicle safety, and to meet quality and performance goals.

Shift: Monday to Thursday: 3:00pm – 11:30pm, Friday: 12:00pm – 8:30pm (40 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $40.19/hour
Location: 1855 Champlain St, Dieppe, NB

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair on- and off-road, heavy-duty vehicles and equipment per preventative maintenance schedules.
• Enter data into the mechanics maintenance and repair database (e.g., Web Fleet Assistant).
• Communicate concerns or escalations to the Foreman or other manager.
• Respond to service calls for equipment breakdowns when no supervisor is available.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic license.
