Mechanic 1 Class - Electrician

**Description:**
* Repairs, maintains, and installs electrical systems and equipment following all safety procedures, electrical codes, manuals, schematic drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.
* Demonstrates knowledge of basic grounding and shielding, electricity, and electrical wiring and raceway systems.
* Maintains and repairs various types of electrical components.
* Uses test equipment, measuring, and alignment tools to perform assigned work tasks.
* Plans and coordinates work following appropriate work orders, work permits, and safety instructions.
* Performs work activities in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
* This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.

* A minimum of 5 years related electrical experience is required.
