MDM & Data Governance Lead

Job Description
A client in the transportation and logistics industry is looking for an experienced MDM & Data Governance Lead to serve as the strategic and operational bridge between business leadership and the technical teams that build and maintain our enterprise Single Source of Truth (SSOT) platform — a custom-built MDM solution hosted in AWS, covering Customers, Locations, Contracts, Vehicles, and Workforce (Passengers planned). This high-visibility contractor role demands technical credibility, stakeholder gravitas, and disciplined governance leadership.
Approximately 60-75% of this role is focused on SSOT platform leadership and vendor management; the
remaining 25-40% is dedicated to data governance program stewardship. These two areas are intentionally
integrated — the quality of data definitions directly shapes the master data model, and vice versa.
