**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Position Summary**:
A material planner is responsible for managing and supervising the flow of raw materials and finished goods in an organization.
This professional evaluates and plans the crucial aspects of production, including demand, supply, and manufacturing capacity.
**Essential Functions**:
- Plans and orders needed material quantities within needed delivery dates
- Ensures good receipts according to requested delivery dates
- Enforces purchasing agreement dates with suppliers
- Ensures optimization of truck load for inbound deliveries
- Manage PPAP expected dates with suppliers.
Coordinates efforts between purchasing, engineering, and quality.
- Collaborates In vendor related projects
- Checks order confirmations regarding price and delivery date.
