Materials Planner III

Position Summary:

The associate is responsible for managing the procurement and supply chain activities, the primary objective is to ensure that the organization has the right quantity of goods and materials at the right time and at the right cost to meet its production or operational needs. This role involves strategic planning, purchasing, inventory management, and supplier relationship management to ensure the uninterrupted flow of materials and goods required for production and operations.

Evaluates and analyze monthly demand and forecast. Evaluate and establish Safety Stock at Raw Material as applicable. Analyzes Material Requirements Planning (MRP)/Advanced Planning Scheduling (APS) of direct material for current and new products. Analyzes MRP system and determines orders to be placed according to schedule. Ensures material availability to meet production schedules.
