Materials Handler

SUMMARY: Responsible for managing and maintaining the flow of materials and products in the production area, according to established guidelines, ensuring timely availability of materials to meet production schedules.
He/she will also be responsible for the review of the Kanban, reporting any malfunctioning of the racks as well as the lack of identification.
In addition, he/she will be responsible for loading and unloading materials using electric and/or manual pallet jacks, forklifts and other material handling equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Receiving and verifying materials in warehouse, this includes receiving, inspecting and validating quantity and quality of materials against purchase orders and specifications.
- Storage and organization of materials in assigned areas, both in warehouse and on production floor, ensuring efficient and safe storage.
