The Role...

You will support a DST Group experimental program working with lead acid battery performance for the future submarines program. The program will include three sets of full-sized submarine cells under ongoing 24/7 testing.

You will support with safely maintaining and monitoring the ongoing lead-acid experiment and lead-acid experimental facility and analyse and report on the experimental outcomes.

You will need...

• Australian Citizenship essential
• Tertiary qualification or vocational education and training sector accreditation in the field of electrical engineering or materials chemistry
• Demonstrated relevant battery research experience
