Material Planner

About the Role

The Material Planner will be part of a focused, high-caliber Supply Chain Management team and will be responsible for ensuring that sufficient BOM and Non-BOM auxiliary materials are always available to support smooth production continuity.

What You Will Do

• Ensure material supply meets production requirements, including safety‑stock targets, while optimizing cost.
• Manage ramp‑ups and slow‑downs to avoid supply gaps or excess inventory.
• Plan and calculate raw‑material requirements using S&OP and OPQR.
• Monitor stock movement to ensure FIFO is followed.
• Support cost‑reduction and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Continuously monitor non‑conforming raw materials and take action to deplete, scrap, or reuse (concession) when possible.
• Manage inventory risk and establish contingency plans.
• Ensure the correctness of the raw‑material logistic view in SAP.
