Responsibilities:
Carefully inspect lumber and materials for damage, defects, or discrepanciesPull lumber orders accurately based on load lists or customer requirementsPick materials for production or shipmentSafely and efficiently put away materials in designated yard or warehouse locationsPackage and secure materials for shipment or customer pickupOperate a forklift and other material-handling equipment (if certified)Assist with loading and unloading trucksMaintain a clean and safe work area at all timesFollow all safety procedures and company policies Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or yard handling lumber or building materialsForklift certification or previous forklift operating experienceStrong attention to detail and ability to work with heavy and oversized materials
