SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

With general instructions from the Warehouse Manager to complete assigned tasks with limited guidance on methods, procedures, or techniques. Receives, stores, and documents inventory from shipments. Picks, packs, and stages orders. Distribute and relocate custodial and office supplies, furniture, books, and equipment to schools and other locations throughout the district. Communicates both verbally and written with internal and external customers. The incumbent performs related work as required.

EXEMPLARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Receives shipments; unloads trucks with forklift or electric pallet jack; checks shipments for accuracy against invoice and purchase order; makes appropriate entries on delivery form, stock records and other related documents; notifies supervisor of discrepancies; conveys stock to storage area or directly to specific department by hand, hand trucks, forklifts, or electric pallet jacks; and pi...
