**Job Description**
The Material Handler plays a key role in safely moving, staging, and organizing steel materials in a busy metals processing facility. This position operates a variety of material handling equipment, completes accurate documentation, and ensures materials are stored and labeled correctly to support efficient production operations on the second shift.
**Responsibilities**
+ Locate and stage materials according to work orders and production requirements.
+ Operate sit-down forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
+ Use side loaders to handle long or heavy steel products as needed.
+ Operate overhead cranes to move all materials over 35 pounds in a safe and controlled manner.
+ Fill out all required worksheets and work orders accurately and legibly.
+ Label materials clearly and return them to the correct storage lo...
