Material Flow Coordinator (Silao)

• Work with Manufacturing Body Engineers and Launch Teams to develop and coordinate the implementation of automated material handling and material delivery strategies (such as ASRS’s & AMR’s).
• Coordinate container agreements among different program stakeholders.
• Develop lessons learned and continuous improvement items and incorporate them into standards, procedures, and future lean material delivery strategies.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing concepts and integrate GM-Integral Manufacturing System (GMS) principles into Future Product Programs and Body Shop Locations.
• Develop and drive the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP).
• Develop cost studies for different material delivery strategies and alternative processes.
• Design, develop and implement automated material delivery systems.
