Material Expediter

**Description**

SAIC is seeking a **Material Expeditor** to the support the team in Hanahan, SC.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Coordinate and expedite flow of material, parts and assemblies within or between various buildings in accordance with Facility manager or facility staff engineer priorities
+ Review production schedules and conferring with staff to determine material requirements
+ Arrange transfer of materials to meet production schedules; examine material to verify type specified for current project; and compute amount of material needed for specific job orders

**Qualifications**

**Required Education and Experience:**

+ High school diploma/GED equivalent and Two (2) years of experience, to include: Coordinating and expediting flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between various buildings in accordance with Facility Manager or Facility Staff Engineer(s) priorities.
