Marketing Director

• Oversees all domestic and international media relations and outreach functions including: developing, planning and strategic oversight of domestic and international public relations to promote the hotel.
• Develops PR strategy for the hotel and implements ongoing, focused media and community relations programs, keeping the hotel’s positioning and brand top of mind.
• Provides leadership and supervision in public relation operations and monitors press outreach, media events, media calls, collateral, crisis communications support and press material development.
• Creates newsworthy promotions and story ideas to include F&B, spa, family, leisure, weddings, group and other topics that are relevant to the hotel.
• Promotes promotions or events.
• Maintains strong media relations with local and regional journalists and pitches hotel efforts. Keeps abreast of consumer and trade media interests in order to better capitalize on opportunities for publicity. ...
