**Job Description**

+ This role supports high‑priority U.S. Navy corrosion mitigation and ship repair projects in San Diego. As a Marine Painter, you will perform shipboard preservation work including painting, surface preparation, coating application, and cleanup on active Navy vessels. You will work closely with technicians to support a large‑scale Navy initiative focused on corrosion control, composite component installation, and ship systems maintenance, directly contributing to fleet readiness and mission‑critical naval operations.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform shipboard painting, touch‑ups, and preservation on a variety of shipboard structures and components.
+ Carry out sanding, grinding, chipping, masking, and other surface preparation activities to ensure proper coating adhesion.
