**Marine Outboard Mechanic - San Diego, CA (1st Shift)**

**Job Description**

+ This role focuses on diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing marine outboard engines, with a strong emphasis on Evinrude outboard motors. You will work in a shipyard environment supporting a wide range of marine vessels by performing mechanical and electrical repairs, routine maintenance, and detailed inspections to ensure safe and reliable operation of marine propulsion systems.

**Responsibilities**

+ Diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul outboard boat engines, with a primary focus on Evinrude outboard engines.
+ Analyze defects and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems on outboard motors to identify root causes of issues.
+ Disassemble engines and related components using mechanic’s hand tools and gauges to inspect for worn or defective parts.
