Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Marine Draftsman with a strong background in the ship design and construction industry. The ideal candidate should be proficient in 3 D modelling software (experience with Rhinoceros is preferred) and possess the ability to interpret 2 D construction drawings and accurately convert them into detailed 3 D CAD models. A solid understanding of engineering outfitting systems is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret 2 D construction & layout drawings.
- Converting 2 D drawings into 3 D models.
- Prepare 2 D of ship tank plans, cargo spaces and ship views.
- Develop 3 D models to support the development and configuration of our in-house software solutions.
